Europium Oxide (Eu2O3) is a white insoluble powder, which is mainly used as red luminescent material in televisors, luminescent lamps and also in semi conductors, LSO Laser media,Nuclear Industry, Ceramics and for scientific uses.
Europium Oxide glows bright red under ultraviolet light (money checker, black-light etc.)
Its easy to produce other Europium compounds.
