Description
Dysprosium potassium phosphate glass ingot – strongly magnetic and fluorescent
diameter ~ 30 mm – ~ 28- 32 grams
Material: Dy K P Glas – Dy2O3 content: 17mol%
Dysprosium Potassium Phosphate glass, containing over 17 mol% Dy2O3, has a distinctive pale lemon-yellow color. This glass is not only aesthetically pleasing but also exhibits strong paramagnetic properties, allowing it to lift a stack of neodymium magnets. While its yellow green fluorescence is slightly weaker (optical quenching) compared to glasses with lower Dysprosium concentrations, it remains notably impressive.
We are able to cast large rods with several cm diameter and lengths up to 50mm
Beautiful optical glass beads doped with metal ions.
Elaborately and individually manufactured by us in the laboratory from highly pure reagents.
Gorgeous beads showing the typical colors of different metal ions in different oxidation states.
They can be used for save demonstration of different colors of the metal compounds or just for collecting.
